AGAINST CHILD LABOUR |
Kanchipuram
60 kms west of Chennai city is historically famous and internationally
known for its silk sarees. But it engages today at least 10,000
children in weaving and deprives them of their childhood, education
and a worthwhile future.
In
order to free and prevent kids from these hell holes of child
slavery, we conduct regularly.
Campaigns
To
conscientise parents of child workers govt officials and the
general public through cultural activities, public meetings,
posters etc.
Play
and Study Centres
Where
child workers meet after work hours, play games, learn literacy
skills, discuss their problems and future and prepare themselves
to join public schools.
Children’s
Parliaments
To
help children grow up with socio-political and human rights
Consciousness.
